I have spent the weekend teaching myself how to make a simple pouch bag. The only difficulty is ensuring the zip is fitted well and that there are tabs so that there is something to hold when pulling the zip. These simple pouches all have an exterior zipped pocket that is large enough to take a smartphone. The one illustrated also has an open back pocket which is easily large enough to hold a kindle. The inside of the bag is simple but could be adapted to include an interior pocket. The one illustrated is very well padded so that phones etc are protected. This would make an ideal bag when travelling as it is large enough for phone, purse/wallet and passport but leaves hands free and is very light. There is a fully adjustable strap with slider so that it can be used as a cross body bag.
